Through stories and book talks, the library fosters an appreciation of traditional and current literature, as students are exposed to the best of fiction and nonfiction books. Here they also begin to use a library for research, incorporating reference sources, databases, and the Internet. Time in the library offers the children of Phillips Brooks an opportunity to enjoy and share books with friends in a relaxing atmosphere.
